How to buy crypto

The quick version
  1. Buy the crypto you need in a wallet app or on an exchange.
  2. Check out here and choose your network — Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT (ERC-20), USDT (TRC-20), Tron or Litecoin.
  3. We show you one wallet address, the network it belongs to, a QR code and the exact amount to send.
  4. Send that amount from your wallet or exchange, then reply to your order email with the transaction ID (TXID).
  5. Your order sits on hold until we can see the payment, then it moves into processing.
Route 1 — a wallet app
Install a wallet, for example Exodus, and buy BTC or LTC through an integrated provider such as Banxa. Then scan the QR code on your order confirmation and send from that wallet. New users may be asked to complete an account or identity check before funds are released.
Route 2 — an exchange
Use a reputable exchange such as CoinSpot, fund the account, buy the coin you want, then withdraw it to the address shown on your order confirmation. Withdrawal timing is controlled by the wallet provider or the exchange and can vary, so allow for any provider checks or delays before you start checkout.
Which coin should I choose?
  • Bitcoin (BTC) — the most widely supported, but network fees rise when the chain is busy.
  • Litecoin (LTC) — fast and cheap to send, available on most exchanges.
  • Ethereum (ETH) — use only if you are sending real ETH, not a token.
  • USDT (TRC-20) — a dollar-pegged token on the Tron network. Usually the cheapest to send.
  • USDT (ERC-20) — the same token on Ethereum. Fees are higher than TRC-20.
  • Tron (TRX) — the Tron network’s own coin.
The one thing to get right
Send on the network we show you, and nothing else. USDT exists on several networks and the address formats look similar. An Ethereum address and a Tron address each accept two different things, so the network label beside the address is what tells you what to send. A transfer sent on the wrong network cannot be recovered. If you are not sure, open a ticket on the contact page before you send anything — we would much rather answer a question than watch a payment disappear.
After you send
Reply to your order email with the transaction ID. Your order stays on hold until we can see the payment on-chain; confirmation time depends on the network and the fee you paid. If you have not heard back, open a ticket with your order number and the TXID.
